NicknameStylish has one contact address: [email protected]. It reaches the same editorial team that curates the style sets and writes the guidance — there is no support tier, no ticket queue and nobody else in between.

The only address we use
[email protected] is the single channel for this site. We do not run a phone line, a Facebook page, a Discord server or a Telegram account, and we never message you first. If an account contacts you claiming to be NicknameStylish from anywhere other than that address, it is not us — we have no way to police impersonation elsewhere, so please treat it with suspicion.
There is no contact form on this page, and that is deliberate. A form would need to collect and store what you type on our side; a plain email address does not, and it leaves the message in your own sent folder where you can refer back to it. What happens to a message once it arrives is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Everything below lands in the same inbox, but telling us which one it is at the top of your message gets it to the right place faster.

Reporting a style that stopped working
This is the message we most want to receive. Platforms change their name filters without announcing it, so a style that passed our paste test in June can be silently rejected in August — and the person who finds out first is almost always a user, not us.
A useful report has three parts:
- The styled text itself, pasted into the email rather than described. “The bold one” matches several sets; the actual characters match exactly one.
- Where you tried to use it — which app, and whether it was a username field, a display name or a bio. These are three different filters and they behave differently.
- Your device — iPhone, Android or desktop. A character that renders on one device can be missing from the font set on another, which looks like a broken style but is not the same problem.
A screenshot of what you saw is welcome and usually settles the question faster than any description. If it turns out the style really is dead on that platform, we retest the whole set it belongs to and update the page rather than quietly removing one character.
Removing a nickname or a correction request
Nicknames in the public list come from other users. If one contains your personal information, impersonates you, or is abusive, send us the exact text and where you saw it and we will remove it. You do not need to explain who you are or prove anything to have a nickname containing personal data taken down.
The same applies to the writing on the site. If we have described a platform’s behaviour incorrectly, tell us and we will fix it — and when we do, the updated date at the top of that page changes with it. We do not refresh dates on pages we have not actually revised.
Copyright and takedown
Before writing about copyright, one thing is worth knowing: the decorative characters themselves cannot be owned. They are code points in the public Unicode standard, not artwork and not fonts — nobody holds a copyright in them, ourselves included. What can be owned is written text, images and page layouts.
If you believe original material of yours has been reproduced on this site, send:
- The URL on NicknameStylish where it appears.
- The original work and where it was first published.
- Enough detail for us to identify the overlap — quoting the passage is ideal.
- Your contact details and confirmation that you hold the rights or act for whoever does.
We handle these ourselves rather than through an agent, so a clear email is all that is needed.
What writing to us will not do
Being straight about the limits saves you time:
- We cannot recover, unlock or rename a game or social account. We have no relationship with any platform and no access to any account. If a name was rejected or reverted, only that platform’s own support can act.
- We cannot make a platform accept a character. Filters belong to the platform. We can tell you what currently passes, and retest when something changes, but that is the whole extent of our influence.
- We do not take payment for anything, so there is nothing to refund, upgrade or cancel. The generator is free and has no accounts.
- We do not promise a reply by a fixed deadline. This is a small editorial team rather than a support department, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a response time we cannot hold to. Reports that include the details listed above are the ones that get acted on fastest.
Who reads the mail
Messages are read by the NicknameStylish Editorial Team — the same group named as publisher on every page here. As explained on our About page, we deliberately do not attach an invented personal byline or a stock headshot to this site: fabricating an “expert” for a text-decoration tool would be dishonest, and you would have no way to check it. The team is real, the work described there is what it actually does, and this inbox goes to it.
